Beautiful Mid-Century Beach House

I have a love affair with the beach.  It might sound odd considering I live in Rochester, NY and we're nowhere near the ocean.  Around here, people think the beaches around the great lakes count as going to the beach.  This includes my Buffalo born and bred husband.  While I'm sure there are nice places around the great lakes, they pale in comparison to going to the ocean to me.

I grew up just outside Philadelphia.  When you're from Philly, you go to the Jersey shore in the summer time.  You go to South Jersey, where the beaches are beautiful and the architecture is quaint.  Avalon, Stone Harbor, Ocean City, Cape May--these are the towns I grew up going to.

So I love to see beach houses.  And here's a great one over on the Happy Mundane blog.

Happy Weekend!!
